NDIS Pricing Schedule update July 2026.
July 1st brings us another new NDIS Pricing document, this time called a “Pricing Schedule” instead of a Pricing Arrangements & Price limits (PAPL) or NDIS price guide. This changing of the name appears to coincide with them separating the PAPL documents into seperate documents for rules and pricing instead of having all this information combined in one spot.
For therapies covered by Fast Track Therapy, rates have not been changed, but the names and descriptions will appear different to fit in with the new numbers and line items used by the NDIS. These line items are:
15_617_0128_1_3 Therapy - Occupational Therapist - Direct Service
15_617_0128_1_3_CA Therapy - Occupational Therapist - Cancellation
15_617_0128_1_3_NF Therapy - Occupational Therapist - Non-Face-to-Face
15_617_0128_1_3_PT Therapy - Occupational Therapist - Provider Travel
15_617_0128_1_3_RR Therapy - Occupational Therapist - NDIA Requested Reports Hour
15_617_0128_1_3_TH Therapy - Occupational Therapist - Telehealth
15_622_0128_1_3 Therapy - Speech Pathologist - Direct Service
15_622_0128_1_3_CA Therapy - Speech Pathologist - Cancellation
15_622_0128_1_3_NF Therapy - Speech Pathologist - Non-Face-to-Face
15_622_0128_1_3_PT Therapy - Speech Pathologist - Provider Travel
15_622_0128_1_3_RR Therapy - Speech Pathologist - NDIA Requested Reports
15_622_0128_1_3_TH Therapy - Speech Pathologist - Telehealth
The most notable differences is the inclusion of specific line items for Cancellation, Non-face to face, Telehealth and report writing.
It’s unclear why some of these different line items have been created, but we can assume that it will give the NDIS better insight into tracking how therapists are charging for their services, including how many participants are accessing Telehealth supports and for what types of therapy.
Another new addition is the choice to clearly seperate “Non-Face-to-Face” time from time spent on “NDIA Requested Reports”.
Whilst it has not been disclosed why this distinction has been made, it may again assist the NDIA in monitoring and reporting on trends in how services are delivered.
It’s unclear how this may affect future plans, however the expansion of these line items may allow for more prescriptive plans with a stated amount of hours for each type of support to try and regulate or standardise how therapy funding is used.
At Fast Track Therapy, we are committed to providing quality supports and NDIA reports, whilst also providing fair and transparent billing for work that we have completed. This includes providing an estimate of hours that we will use within the sign-up and service agreement process, and then honouring this agreement and staying within the allocated amounts.
We will continue to monitor and keep up to date with any further any NDIS changes and adjust our practice as needed. If you have any questions about these changes or how it may affect you, please feel free to reach out via info@fasttracktherapy.com.au
