Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why choose Fast Track Therapy? People often choose Fast Track Therapy because the service makes accessing occupational therapy and related supports as straightforward as possible while offering excellent customer service. This includes a faster sign‑up process with options to submit an online referral or book a call directly through the website without long phone queues or waits, the use of online forms and service agreements to reduce administrative tasks, flexible booking options through online links, and the availability of telehealth appointments alongside in‑person visits to reduce travel time and help people begin therapy sooner.
Do you offer at‑home appointments? Yes. Fast Track Therapy provides mobile‑only services, meaning that therapists come to you at your home, school, work, or other places in the community. The belief is that therapy works best in natural environments where clients use the skills or equipment being worked on, rather than in a simulated clinic setting.
I’ve completed a referral form, what now? After completing a referral form or making contact, Fast Track Therapy will get in touch within two business days. They will discuss your therapy needs and collaboratively create a plan. A service agreement is sent for completion, and during the initial session, an assessment provides an overview of your day‑to‑day life, what is meaningful to you, and how you engage in activities. This assessment informs the development of therapy goals to guide future sessions and measure progress.
I’ve had an initial appointment, what next? Following the initial session, Fast Track Therapy will schedule the next appointment with you or someone you nominate. If you provided an email address, you will receive automatic reminders 24 hours before your appointment. Depending on your goals and preferences, the number of sessions booked may vary from a limited number for assessment only to multiple sessions over several months or blocks of intensive therapy.
How do I pay for my therapy? Payment depends on how your therapy is funded. If you are an NDIS participant, Fast Track Therapy will invoice you, your plan manager, or NDIS directly based on how your plan is managed. They also accept privately paying clients and funding from other bodies such as ICare, My Aged Care, or Health and Community Care Packages. Invoices are sent via email after services are provided, and payment is typically accepted via bank transfer. For more pricing details, you are encouraged to view their Fees & Pricing page.
What Suburbs does Fast Track Therapy cover? Fast Track Therapy provides Occupational Therapy services in Sydney and Melbourne, with Dietitian and Speech Pathology services offered in Sydney or via telehealth. How much do your services cost? The exact cost of services can be found on the Fees and Pricing Schedule on the Fast Track Therapy website. Do you provide wheelchair assessments and prescriptions? Yes.
