Since beginning his career as an OT in 2021, Alec worked within community occupational therapy, mainly working within the NDIS with people who have physical, psychosocial and neuro-developmental disability.
Alec is particularly passionate about supporting young adults as they transition into adulthood. This stage often requires a shift in focus towards developing essential living skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and work readiness. Alec works closely with individuals to enhance their independence and confidence in managing these day-to-day tasks, which are critical for thriving in adult life. His approach is centered on helping clients navigate the challenges of this transition and prepare for a fulfilling, independent future.
Outside of work, Alec enjoys music, golfing, surfing, camping, and spending time with family and friends, embracing an active and balanced lifestyle that aligns with his commitment to helping others lead fulfilling lives.
