Home and Living Reports

We provide Home and Living assessments to help the NDIS determine appropriate levels of care (SIL) and housing options (SDA) that support your safety and independence.

SDA is a type of housing funded by the NDIS to support individuals with disability. It is designed with accessible features to assist residents in moving around safely and promoting greater independence. SDA homes may include features like wider hallways, automated doors, soundproofing, and other modifications tailored to specific needs. An occupational therapy home and living report can help assess your eligibility for SDA and identify the building features that may best support your needs.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living (SIL) provides daily support for individuals with disability who require a higher level of assistance to live independently, often in shared housing. SIL services may include help with tasks like cooking, cleaning, personal care, and developing life skills. The aim is to encourage independence while offering support where needed.

An occupational therapy home and living report can assist in assessing your eligibility for SIL and identifying a suitable model of care to meet your needs.
